Olympic Race
Swim: Two
laps of a triangular course (750m) off
Surfboards/Kayaks & a
small boat will patrol the course. The three-points of the triangle will be
marked with large RED buoys, approximately
6-ft diameter. Smaller RED buoys (~3-ft diameter) will be spaced between the larger
buoys. You must complete 2 Laps !

Transition 1:
After exiting the sea, triathletes run 30 metres, up the beach, to the transition. Your Bike is held
upright in a rack with your gear in a Box (with your Race # on it) next to your
Bike. You exit the Transition Zone at the North end.

Cycle: Eight
(8) laps of an elongated 5 km rectangular course loop along the

Transition 2: You
dismount your Bike before the Transition Zone and enter from the South end.
Rack your Bike properly, place helmet and any other gear in your Box, then Run
out the Transition Zone at the North end.

Entry fee: BD$150/US75 (Individual) BD$60/US$30 per person (Relay)
Each entrant will receive a
T-shirt, Swim Cap, Race Numbers, Pre-Race Pasta Dinner, Airport Pickup/Drop-off,
Transport to/from Briefing & to/from Race. The
Swim cap (Red) will be marked with your Race # and MUST be worn during
the swim leg. Wetsuits are NOT allowed. Drafting will be allowed
however, all other ITU race rules will be in effect.
Your age on 31st December
2009 is your race age !!!
